BOWLS
We encourage both tourists and visitors from other clubs to play with us. Never played bowls before? Maleny Bowls Club is a great place to start.
There are currently three weekly events. Phone the organiser below if you would like more information.
Tuesday Morning Bowls
8.30 for 9.00 start. This is usually pairs or triples with two games. For new and experienced players. Cost $12 which includes a set of bowls if required. We also have a $25 package deal that includes 2 games of 10 ends of lawn bowls that includes morning tea followed by lunch at the Maleny Hotel. Partners and Non Bowlers lunch at Maleny Hotel for $13.
Wednesday Twilight Bowls
6.00 for 6.30pm start. This is a friendly and social team event where fun and companionship is the priority with random prizes awarded on the night. It is a great place for new bowlers to try the game. Cost $17 which includes a set of bowls if required, a delicious burger and a game of bowls. $12 without the burger.
Friday Scroungers
1.30 for 2.00pm (1st Friday in May to last Friday in Sep), 2.00 for 2.30pm (1st Friday in Oct to last Friday in April). A friendly event that improves your ‘draw game’. Each player is given a handicap so in theory, everyone has an equal chance of winning. For new and experienced players. Cost $12 which includes a set of bowls if required.
